| Popeye 75th Anniversary Filmstrip Premier Edition Cookie Jar. Features a black and white Popeye bust on a film strip base with classic pictures of Popeye and friends. Hand numbered and limited to an edition size of 3,600. This large cookie jar comes in a full color box with Popeye graphics. Made of ceramic with a glossy finish. Measures 11.25'' x 6.5'' x 12.25'' high. Created by E.C. Segar in 1929, Popeye will celebrate his 75th Anniversary all year long in 2004. With his gal Olive Oyl at his side, this upstanding character made his debut in the Thimble Theater comic strip. Soon thereafter, Popeye became a hero on the big screen. Today there are well over 600 cartoons, many of which are still shown regularly on TV around the world. He's strong to the finish 'cause he eats his spinach, he's Popeye the Sailorman!
