Grills have become a major passion among Americans. Charcoal grills, propane grills, portable grills, tailgating grills – you name it, we have it.

The integration of the outdoors with the indoors has made outdoor entertaining, cooking and dining much more popular. Consumers are buying significant outdoor cooking and entertainment centers, big propane grills with side burners, even outdoor ovens.

Enjoy the outdoors, cook on your grill and live it up. We’re sharing some ideas about how to cook up some good food on your grill.

Mix up ground turkey, ricotta cheese, Worcester sauce, one egg, salt, peper and enough breadcrumbs to hold the mixture together. Use some Pam spray for grilling to help keep these guys from sticking (the Turkey doesn’t have much fat so they stick more than beef burgers) and cook about 4-6 minutes per side on your gas or charcoal grill over medium high heat.

Put a cast iron skillet on the side burner of your gas grill. Put on whole Jalapeno pepper and three or four cloves of garlic in the skillet (no oil). Toss them around in the pan for about 6-8 minutes over high heat. Set them aside and let them cool.

Put four tomatoes on high heat on the grill itself. Cook about 5 minutes per side. Remove from heat and remove the skins (they’ll come off easily after roasting the tomatoes).

Combine the whole pepper, the whole cloves of garlic and a slice of white onion (rinse it and dry it) in a food processor. Blend into a salsa and add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with tortilla chips.
